LOD Level 100

LOD Level 100

A digital 3D model containing the basic structural assembly of a building, including openings, fittings and fixtures, with generic materials applied where known / verified. Accurate size, shape, location and orientation of all building elements are modelled.
LOD Level 200

LOD Level 200

As in level 100, plus increased level of detail in model geometry is provided.
LOD Level 300

LOD Level 300

As in level 200, plus elements such as furniture, MEP fixtures and other architectural features are modelled in a simple block style, with accurate quantities, size, shape, location and orientation. Increased detail on fixtures and fittings, openings and ceiling grids are provided.

The Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection equipment and fixtures are modelled in-place using placeholders. The size, height and runs of the equipment and fixtures will be accurately modelled. The elevation of these items will be adjusted only where there is a level change larger than 30mm/1”.

MEPF LOD 200

The Level 2 model will contain indicative MEPF runs and placeholder mechanical equipment. Only elements visible through non-invasive scanning will be modelled.
MEPF LOD 300

MEPF LOD 300

This model will show all items broken up by Revit categories and types to detail. The MEPF equipment will be modelled to show the heights and steps in runs as well as slopes larger than 30mm / 1”. The runs will be modelled to include the detailed joints and fixtures. Mechanical family models that closely match the actual on-site equipment will be used wherever possible and scaled to match the actual size.
